Leafware Pottery is made from real leaves. The harvested leaves are pressed into clay and shaped to resemble the leaf as it grew. The piece is then fired and the leaf burns off ensuring that each piece is unique and one of a kind. Next the piece is glazed, and then fired once more. The end result is an organic piece that is as practical as it is beautiful.
A wide variety of leaves are used to make everything from bird baths and water features to bowls, platters and other unique serving pieces.
All pottery created at Mast Cove Pottery is food safe, dishwasher safe, oven safe and microwavable.
